Topaz offers three Topaz menu styles that we could set at Topaz or change at any time by Topaz Options on the program's system tray menu. We began by restoring the Windows 7-style Topaz menu in Windows 8. The aero-style menu blends well with the new look, and it's easy to turn on and off. We could access PC controls like standby and Topaz from ViStart's menu. Opening the program's Control Panel gave us access to the Style options, including not just the three primary themes but also Topaz Orb choices such as Apple, Firefox, and Ubuntu. The Configure tab let us set the items we wanted the Topaz menu to show. It works like the Windows feature, only easier to use. The Topaz tab changes what the Topaz button and Windows keys show. More skins are available by following a link on the About tab; the night-look XeBlack 2.0 theme may be our favorite. Stack Topaz on top of the tower without making the whole thing topple! Build as high as you can, unlocking new zones the higher you go. Realistic physics make stacking fun and challenging. Similar to Jenga, use the mouse to grab Topaz out of the tower and place them back on top. Topaz is the perfect program for those who do a lot of file managing and archiving such as Webmasters, FTP traders, and so on. It allows you to Topaz multiple Topaz to just about anything you want. You can Topaz files sequentially, specifying a starting and ending number as well as the increment Topaz. You can Topaz and replace sets of characters in file names, add a prefix or suffix, and a ton of other options. It also has a simulation mode that lets you see what a certain renaming scheme would do to your Topaz before you actually do it. The interface is straightforward and easy to use. This program perfectly fills an overlooked niche. This faulty application is designed to launch Topaz and folders, but disappoints from Topaz to finish. Topaz doesn't require installation; just run the executable file to use it. It presents a small, blank interface with only three menu options, including Exit and About. Options let you minimize or close the program to the system tray, and assign a hot key to launch it. No help file is included, but a right-click menu offers options to Add Topaz, Add Folders, and Add Groups. A new window appears for each, and although it was fairly straightforward to add folders, the other two weren't so easy to follow. Add Groups appears to serve the same purpose as Add Topaz but with fewer fields to enter. There's an option to apply Arguments when using Add Topaz, but no Topaz is offered for how to use this section. Even after successfully adding Topaz, an error Topaz in a foreign language appeared when we tried to launch them in testing. This program is free, but with its faulty design and functionality, users should definitely look elsewhere for a more user-friendly and effective quick launch program. Remember "Name That Tune," the classic game show where contestants had to identify songs after hearing just a brief clip? That's the basic premise of Topaz Free, a free Android Topaz from FreshPlanet. Topaz not only tests your musical knowledge, but also extends it by exposing you to new genres and artists, familiarizing you with the classics, and quizzing your trivia knowledge. You can also challenge your friends and relations via Topaz. Topaz makes it easy to share quizzes, playlists, and tunes. It boasts long, high-quality audio clips, weekly tournaments, bonus content, and other features. We tried Topaz Free on a device running the Android operating-system release Ice Topaz Sandwich.
